A Fast-Paced Start to the Year!
The first quarter of 2025 has been nothing short of incredible at Little Lions Child Coaching! From running around Lion’s Head to expanding our impact in South Africa and Kenya, we are excited to share the journey so far.
Welcoming New Implementing Partners
Our pride continues to grow! We kicked off the year by training our new Inner Lion Programme implementing partners in South Africa.
52 facilitators
Since January, we’ve successfully trained 52 facilitators in South Africa, ensuring more children gain access to mental health support.
Team Takes Nairobi!
In January 2025, Stijn, Ululutho, and Nomfundo set off to Nairobi to finally meet the Little Lions Kenya Team, connect with partners, and train new implementing partners.
We are excited to welcome Stawi Camps and Futbol Mas who will be joining Lakisama and KipKeino as our Inner Lion Programme Partners! Over the course of our time in Kenya, we trained two organisations and 16 new facilitators, helping to scale our impact across borders.
We are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality from the amazing partners we met in Nairobi, particularly our peers at Nivishe Foundation, Cheza Cheza Dance, Mental 360, Little Lions School, Nyambura from Mighty Ally, and Joy from Dovetail Impact Foundation. Your support and collaboration truly inspire us!
We hosted the second edition of Little Lions Loop, our annual fundraising event, with 85+ participants running 5K at Lion’s Head in support of children’s mental health. This year, we were honored to have two Little Lions children join the run, reminding us exactly why this work matters.
R60 000 Raised
Since January, we’ve successfully trained 52 facilitators in South Africa, ensuring more children gain access to mental health support.
Thanks to our community and incredible partners: Workshop17, Running Late Club, The Conscious Kitchen, and Sweet Spot Abroad we raised an incredible R60,000!
These funds will provide free mental health sessions for 50 children. A massive, roaring, thank you to Rinke, Kseniya, Tim, Laura, Daniel, and Stefan, without your support, drive, and passion we would not have been able to pull this off! A massive, roaring, thank you!
