What is Little Lions Child Coaching?

Little Lions Child Coaching is a mental health and emotional resilience organisation supporting children aged 8–13.

We help children discover their Inner Lion — the courage, confidence, and emotional strength already within them.

All of our programmes are grounded in four Core Pillars:

  • Emotions – building emotional awareness and regulation
  • Qualities – strengthening confidence, identity, and leadership
  • Coping – equipping children with practical tools to manage stress and challenges
  • Resilience – developing long-term inner strength and adaptability

Our trained mental health coaches work in the heart of the communities they live in — ensuring trust, cultural understanding, and meaningful local impact.

Why is it important to act now?

Youth mental health is a growing global concern. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 7 adolescents worldwide experience a mental health condition.

Early intervention matters.

When children are supported early, they are more likely to build healthy coping skills, strengthen confidence, and navigate challenges with resilience.

We believe every child deserves the tools to find their Inner Lion before crisis defines them.

What are your workshops like?

Our workshops are fun, interactive, and engaging.

We use:

  • Play-based learning
  • Script writing and storytelling
  • Group discussions
  • Creative reflection activities

Sessions are delivered in the local language of the community, making them accessible and relatable — while grounded in strong psychological principles and evidence-based practice.

Children don’t just talk about emotions — they experience growth in ways that feel natural, safe, and empowering.

Who do you work with?

We partner with:

  • Schools
  • Community organisations
  • Youth development initiatives
  • Fellowship cohorts
  • Corporate CSI partners

Our programmes are implemented through structured partnerships led by our internal team of community-based mental health coaches.

Can I book a workshop?

Little Lions workshops are delivered by our trained internal mental health coaches and are implemented through long-term partnerships rather than once-off bookings.

What is the Inner Lion Programme?

The Inner Lion Programme is our scalable mental health integration model designed to embed emotional development into partner organisations.

It provides:

  • Structured curriculum tools
  • Facilitator guidance
  • Ongoing support
  • Impact tracking frameworks

This ensures mental health becomes embedded — not added on.

How do you measure impact?

Our programme is evidence-based and grounded in established psychological principles.

We measure impact through structured and reflective methods to ensure meaningful, long-term growth.

Our approach includes:

  • Pre- and post-programme reflections
  • Feedback from children, educators, and partners
  • Ongoing partnership check-ins
  • Booster sessions to reinforce learning

Our goal is sustainable emotional development — helping children strengthen their Inner Lion over time.

Do you use volunteers?

Because our workshops are intimate emotional spaces, we do not use volunteers in regular sessions. Programmes are facilitated exclusively by trained Little Lions coaches to ensure safeguarding, consistency, and emotional safety.

On limited occasions (such as our annual Alumni Day), volunteers may assist with event logistics. In these cases, all volunteers must:

  • Sign our Child Protection Policy
  • Adhere to our Visitor Guidelines
  • Operate under team supervision

Protecting safe spaces is central to everything we do.

How can I support Little Lions?

You can:

  • Become a Pride Sponsor and sponsor a monthly workshop
  • Partner through Corporate Social Investment (CSI)
  • Fund programme expansion into new communities
  • Support a child’s journey toward emotional resilience

When you become a Pride Sponsor, you help more children discover their Inner Lion.
